π Januray 2022 Wrap up! π
To be honest, I didn't read a lot of books during January. I only read 2 books π³. I normally read more than 5 books every month, so January wasn't a good reading month. But let's get on with it!
Here are the 2 books I read on January
A small village in the wilds of Northumberland is rocked by the disappearance of twelve-year-old Tamara Tait.
Only her twin brother, Ethan, knows she is safe and the extraordinary truth of where she really is. It must be a secret or he'd risk never seeing her again.
But he isn't going to give up.
He teams up with his new best friend Iggy and an alien (yes, alien!) Hellyann, a spaceship called Philip and Suzy, a trained chicken for a nail-biting chase to get his sister back... which will take him further than anyone has ever been before.
The Witch's Boy - Kelly Barnhill
Ned and his twin Tam tumble from their raft in the river, and only Ned survives.
The villagers are convinced the 'wrong boy' lived.
Ned grows up weak and slow. He stutters whenever he speaks, words are his enemies. When a Bandit King comes to steal the magic, that his mother a witch, is meant to protect, it's Ned's job to safeguard the magic.
