πŸ“š Januray 2022 Wrap up! πŸ“š

To be honest, I didn't read a lot of books during January. I only read 2 books 😳. I normally read more than 5 books every month, so January wasn't a good reading month. But let's get on with it!

Here are the 2 books I read on January

The Kid Who Came From Space - Ross Welford

A small village in the wilds of Northumberland is rocked by the disappearance of twelve-year-old Tamara Tait.

Only her twin brother, Ethan, knows she is safe and the extraordinary truth of where she really is. It must be a secret or he'd risk never seeing her again.

But he isn't going to give up.

He teams up with his new best friend Iggy and an alien (yes, alien!) Hellyann, a spaceship called Philip and Suzy, a trained chicken for a nail-biting chase to get his sister back... which will take him further than anyone has ever been before.

The Witch's Boy - Kelly Barnhill

Ned and his twin Tam tumble from their raft in the river, and only Ned survives.

The villagers are convinced the 'wrong boy' lived.

Ned grows up weak and slow. He stutters whenever he speaks, words are his enemies. When a Bandit King comes to steal the magic, that his mother a witch, is meant to protect, it's Ned's job to safeguard the magic.

Meanwhile, in another kingdom across the forest lives Γine, the bandit king's resourceful daughter.
She is haunted by her mother's last words 'The wrong boy will save your life and you will save his.'  But when Áine and Ned’s paths cross, can they trust each other long enough to make their way through the treacherous woods and stop the war about to boil over?

Wow! I just realized both the books were related to twins!

I can't wait to do my next wrap-up post! Stay tuned!
