Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

 Have you seen the Harry Potter film series? I sure have! If you like the movie a lot then why don't you read the book! 

This book was released on 26 June 1997. The movie was released in 2002. It was written by J.K Rowling.

This book is all about a boy who is a wizard, but he did not know that until his 11th birthday! 
His parents were both powerful wizards, sadly they died when an evil wizard kills them, the boy, Harry Potter, was just a baby by then. From then he lives with his aunt and uncle, the Dursleys, and their son Dudley. They treat Harry very bad. They both knew he is a wizard but they never talked about it. Then when he turns 11, Hagrid, the gamekeeper of Hogwarts, a wizardry school, arrives to take harry to where he belongs! Harry is very happy and shocked. But then days pass as he enjoys the new world of wizardry. He also got 2 friends! Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Things go right until the evil wizard, Voldemort, rises again to kill Harry Potter! Do you want to know what happens to Harry? Then, why don't you read the book! This is a very interesting book. One of the must-reads if I recommend a few books!

Midnight At The Barclay Hotel It was an amazing read! This was the first book I read which related to middle-grade mysteries.  JJ’s mom and 4 others get an all-expenses-paid weekend getaway at the illustrious Barclay hotel. JJ loves ghost hunting. What could be better than spending the weekend ghost hunting in a haunted hotel? He convinces his very busy CEO mom, to accept the invitation. Of course, he wouldn't have done it if he knew they would be stuck there in the midst of a murder mystery! When he arrives at the hotel, they get to know that his mom is one of the suspects! With his new friends, Emma and Penny, he has to track down a killer, clear his mother’s name and probably meet a ghost! Midnight at the Barclay hotel was a fast-paced novel full of fun and of course mysteries. I totally recommend this book. ~Nishi
