📚 Januray 2022 Wrap up! 📚

To be honest, I didn't read a lot of books during January. I only read 2 books 😳. I normally read more than 5 books every month, so January wasn't a good reading month. ✨ Middle Grade Book Recs ✨

I have read hundreds of middle-grade books and I can't wait to share my recommendations with you! Wonder  Wonder, by R.J Palacio, is about a boy named August who has a genetic facial difference . After being homeschooled, he goes to school for the first time in grade 5.  Auggie has to cope with the reactions to his unusual appearance and middle-school drama. Some kids are mean to him and want him to get out of school. This beautiful story is narrated from different points of view like Auggie and his sister. Front Desk Mia Tang lives in a Motel, not a big house. Every day her parents clean the hotel and she manages the front desk and tends to the customers. Her parents let immigrants stay in the motel, for free. If mean Mr.Yao, the motel's owner, finds it out they're doomed. Mia wants to be a writer. What are 'Middle Grade' books?

Middle-grade books are usually for kids from 8 - 12 years old. These books are age-appropriate and are good for kids to read!  Just because it is called Middle-Grade books doesn't mean only middle graders should read it! Really, anyone can read these books no matter what age! The category after Middle Grade is YA, which is Young Adult. Young Adult books are usually for 13-18 year olds.
